The BIFA (British International Freight Association) has announced the conquerors of its Freight Service Awards competition 2015.
According to the BIFA, the winners for the ten major categories in the Freight Service Awards Competition 2015 has been announced. The BIFA (British International Freight Association) has established a benchmark of quality for the British freight forwarding industry for more than two decades. The winners are:
- Greenshields Cowie & Co;
- Dynamic International Freight Services;
- 512 (Sheffield);
- The Woodland Group;
- Unsworth Global Logistics;
- Transglobal Freight Management;
- PSL Freight;
- Panalpina World Transport;
- Kuehne + Nagel; and, Moto Freight.
BIFA Award ceremony highpoints
In the Single and individual business category, the Young Freight Forwarder Award was won by the Liam Byrne, part owner of ACC Freight Management.
As freight produces income for BIFA affiliates when it is on the travel, it was suitable that this year’s Awards ceremony was accommodated by Sally Boazman, else identified as ‘Sally Traffic’.
Certificate distribution ceremony
BIFA President Sir Peter Bottomley MP once more hailed the guests to the 27th BIFA Freight Services Awards luncheon ceremonial and, along with Sally Boazman, untaken all the finalists with their certificates. BIFA Director General, says: “I recognize that every year BIFA members look ahead to appearing the Awards luncheon as I do. It has continuously been a great way to start a New Year in business.
“The luncheon signifies other than just acceptable dining in an imposing position. It is also about friendliness and networking, strengthening current relationships between Members and guests, and making new ones. I acknowledge every company and individual who took the time and trouble to enter our Freight Service Awards competition 2015. I endure to trust that the very act of arriving at our platforms allows Members to advance their business systems and learn a great pact about themselves.”
The finalists and winners in the 11 Awards categories were as follows:
General Category Awards
In the general category The Project forwarding Award sponsored by Peter Lole Insurance Brokers won by Greenshields Cowie & Co.
Finalists were Finalists – CEVA Freight (UK); Expeditors International (UK); Worldwide Energy Logistics
Special services awards
The Specialist Services Award was sponsored by Forward Computers and this award was won by Dynamic International Freight Services. However the finalists were – Customs Clearance; Priority Freight; World Transport Agency
Other categories were individual based and in the Individual category the Young Freight Forwarder Award was sponsored by Virgin Atlantic Cargo and won by Liam Byrne of ACC Freight Management. The finalists in this category were Daria Banks of Banks & Lloyd (Shipping); Nicolas Barrois of World Transport Agency; James Mears of Ital Logistics
