National carrier Oman Air is going to launch its second new daily service from Muscat, Oman to Heathrow, London.
this non-stop service between two capitals will give more economic strength to both countries and this new direct service will operate from Heathrow’s terminal number 4.
Oman Air is ready to start its second new daily service from Muscat International Airport to Heathrow International Airport London in this current month.
It is already proving cargo services from UK to Oman, but this new service will connect both the capital cities with direct flights. This new service of Oman Air will fulfil the overwhelming demand of the travellers of the London, Oman and other Middle East and Asian countries.
London a favourite destination of Omani travellers
The launch of this second new non-stop service from Muscat to London is very cheerful for the Oman Air. According to the Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, the airline is very happy at the start of the second daily based service from Oman to Heathrow London. The popularity of Muscat as a destination for UK travellers has never been greater.

Timing of this new service
This new daily service of Oman Air for Heathrow will depart Oman International Airport 14.00 and arrives at Heathrow International Airport at 18:20. The return time of the flight departs Heathrow International Airport at 20:15 and arrives in Oman the next morning at 7:35. The new service will fly through the night and departing Muscat at 01:25 and arriving in London Heathrow at 06.30. Return flights will depart Heathrow at 08.30 and arrive in Muscat at 18.55.
Fleet expansion plan of Oman Air
The National air carrier of Oman is now busy with a major fleet expansion programme, which will see the airline’s fleet rise in size to 70 aircraft by 2020. Now Oman Air is currently operating with 40 aircraft’s including Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus 330-300s, Airbus 330-200s, Boeing 737-900s, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-700, Embraer 175s and an ATR 42.
In the same year4 more Dreamliners will join the fleet of Oman Air. It is expected that by 2018, Oman Air’s total fleet size is expected to be around 57 aircraft, increasing to 70 aircraft by 2020. Oman Air is determined for more new services to other destinations around the globe.
