Demand of Air Cargo in Last Two Years
A recent survey has revealed that there is a significant decline in air cargo business. There is only 5% increase in the air cargo business in 2014, whereas the increase in the next year, 2015, is only 2.2%. It clearly showed that the decline has started in the air cargo industry.
The survey also revealed that there is minor revenue of $50 billion expected in 2016, whereas the same airfreight business exceeded the expectations by $68 billion.

FedEx and Amazon are considered as the major corporations and they own more than 100 air freighters and also making the plan of own deals in future, that’s why they are on their way to the become largest air cargo holders. According to FedEx future plans, they are expecting to own 100 Boeing freighters by 2018.
Although the survey is showing that there is a big disaster coming in air cargo industry, but with the planning of sound strategies by the big corporations, the air cargo industry is still in safe hands and also in a position to dominate in coming future.
Aircraft threatening the Air Cargo Industry
The development and manufacturing of mighty aircraft Boeing 777 and similar to them, there is a clear message to air cargo industry that it has to do something exceptional to survive because the mighty aircraft not only carry passengers but also can carry massive cargo load.
